Questions

1. |
Q. Is indoor tanning more harmful
than outdoors tanning? |
A.
Those who tan indoors are exposed to a scientifically calibrated
amount of UV light. When used in accordance with the FDA exposure
guidelines (Posted on each machine), tanning beds are designed to
maximize tanning without burning. Therefore , tanning outdoors is
an unregulated environment and not controlled as it is
indoors. |

Q. Should you burn first to get a
tan? |
A. A sunburn does not fade into a tan. A sunburn
indicates overexposure to UV-Light and actually damages the skin.
We preach, moderate tanning for those individuals who can develop a
tan. The best guide line to tanning is - Don't EVER
sunburn. |
